Sign of the times...

It's a sign of the times when even Fred Segal can't lure shoppers to their labyrinth of a store. We told you about their sale earlier this week, so I stopped by the Melrose & Crescent Heights location with the BF. He was in dire need of a denim fix and they always have the next trend in designer jeans on hand. We were surprised that the shop was nowhere near as bustling as it would've been a year or so ago. There were a bit more shoppers than a typical Saturday, but less than expected. However, Mauro Cafe was packed as usual leaving many loitering around while waiting for a table.

The woman's selection of clothes was very so-so. Some items really did catch my eye, yet I decided to pass on them for now - i.e. Morphine Generation T's and Acne Jeans.


In the men's section the only hot item was denim, everything else seemed already picked through or just not worth it. As you can see some lonely male shoppers browsed through their huge stock of coats. The BF happily tried on every pair of jeans in his size from the denim bar until finding those special two pairs to purchase.


The golden sale at this location is in Fall, this week's was more of a teaser. Fred Segal didn't disappoint as the BF left happy.
