On lust and lip gloss

The intrinsic sexiness of lip gloss I've always understood in theory, but never in practice. Perhaps I was just waiting for "the one." Well, this weekend I had the equivalent of the perfect first date when I tried Stila's Lip Pot.

Oh yes, the little lip pot is so cute to look at. Stila always has packaging that makes me feel so LA Pretty just having it in my purse. But when I first applied it in the mirror, I forgot about the pretty and only thought of lust.

My lips instantly looked like I just had a really long makeout session. They were a perfect red and pink and the color shone even around my lips a bit, but not in a put-it-on-in-the-dark way, but instead in a accidentally sexy way (the best kind of sexy).

And the best part is that these lip pots are now on sale for $8.00 (down from $17.00). I'm crossing my fingers that the sale is just a special and not a "we're not making these any more" kind of sale. Because this lip pot is my new fave.
