The best way to get luscious red lips is from Bella il Fiore, and finding their lip tint has changed my life.
Oh you think I'm exaggerating? Before, every time I'd try to get Gwen Stefani lips, it would just end up being a big red mess. I'd get lipstick on anything and everything: the fork, the coffee cup, the BF, the dog (What? I love my dog!); and every five seconds the BF would tell me I needed to fix my lips because the color has wandered away from my pucker to my chin. He finally said during a lunch at Jack Sprats after my red had wandered once again: "maybe you just shouldn't wear red lipstick." True story.
But then I found Double Agent Lip Stain - I think I faintly heard angels singing when I opened the box, but I can't be sure. I got it in shade 003, Rich Rose, and oh my, was it the perfect color: not too pinky, not too orangey, just plain sexy red. Oh Gwen would be proud! I've never used anything like it before. It's not a creamy, smeary, messy lipstick, but instead resembles a felt tip marker. You can lightly touch it to your lips for some subtle color, or really mark-up your lips for a sexy pop. But again, I must emphasis: this stuff stays where it's supposed to! No more checking the mirror every five minutes to see if I resemble Bozo the Clown!
And to add some sexy glimmer, top it off with Kiss Me Now Lip Gloss in Stiletto. The combo of the both of them together is a one-two punch for knock out sexy red lips.
And if you think I'm lying about the whole change-my-life thing, ask my Partner in Pretty. She witnessed a total freakout yesterday when I couldn't find my lip stain. I later realized that it had rolled under my keyboard (I always have at the ready by my computer). Phew!
