Fancy-schmancy popcorn is turning me into a gourmet!

There's nothing sexier than the delicacy of black truffles and we Pretties suggest you get yourself a bag of Charlie's Truffled Popcorn. This is no plain bag of popcorn! After the kernels are air-popped, they're sprinkles with Black Perigord and Summer Truffles. Combined together with popcorn, the flavors all merge to form an indescribably addictive yumminess.

Okay plebian, we're not talking about chocolate here. We're talking about the kind of precious truffles that grow underground on the roots of trees. Black Perigord Truffles are the most expensive French truffle and sell for about $1,500 a pound!

But don't accuse us of being un-American! These truffles are found on a 200 acre farm in North Carolina, the largest truffle farm in the U.S. For centuries France, Italy, and Spain dominated the market (truffles are a persnickety bunch and demand a special climate to flourish) but Susan Rice's North Carolina farm has a similar soil and temperature to these European truffle "hot spots" and may just turn into the Napa Valley of truffles.

Rice wants to change global gourmet tastes by fusing American products with the European truffle and she sure has made our Pretty taste buds swoon with this delicious popcorn! This post has already taken me much longer than it should have to write as I can't seem to stop noshing from this sample bag I was sent!

Get your own bag at select Whole Foods or by calling (866) 678-2338.
