Opening today: Art of Motion Picture Costume Design

FIDM Museum Presents:

The Seventeenth Annual
"Art of Motion Picture Costume Design"

An exhibition celebrating the 2008 Costumes for Film
Including the work of Oscar® nominated and winning Designers

FIDM's popular, one-of-a-kind annual exhibition pays homage to the creativity of costume designers in film. On view this year will be over 125 actual costumes from 25 outstanding 2008 motion pictures, including costumes from films nominated for the 2008 Academy Award® for Best Costume Design.
Costumes from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Dark Knight, and The Other Boleyn Girl, are some films that will be featured. In keeping with the museum's tradition, last year's winner, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, will also be on view.

Opens to Public: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 -- ends March 29, 2009
Gallery Hours: 10-4 pm Wednesday - Sunday. Closed Monday & Tuesday
Admission: Free, except for group tours (information below)
