House of Holland's debut of their Fall '09 collection at London Fashion Week has me thinking: dressing like a paint sample looks Pretty awesome! Henry Holland's fun collection is based on Pantone color cards that tell the design world what colors are in for each upcoming season. You can see the full Fall '09 color report here. According to Pantone the 2009 color of the year is Mimosa, because it "embodies hopefulness and assurance in a time of change."
Anyhow, House of Holland decided that they loved Pantone colors so much that their entire collection is full of bold hues. Garments resemble paint samples and the white strip separating color shades can actually add emphasis to certain body parts(waist, hips, boobs). Maybe this is what we need? Separate and hide what you don't like and accent those areas that absolutely must be flaunted!
