LA Fashion Week is alive!

LA Fashion Week is officially no longer a hot mess and is happening next week. The day's of Smashbox, Mercedes-Benz, and rich kids with their own "lines" are thankfully over. So stop scrimping your cash and splurge on fashion to see the trends from LA's hottest designers. New York's overproduced corporate powers have nothing on our community spirit and individuality. Plus, we have the sunshine and palm trees. Here's the much anticipated lineup.

GEN ART will kick off BoxEight's Fashion Week events Friday the 13th and tickets are $35-75 from GEN ART's website. Featuring Fall Collections from:
Raquel Allegra

GRAI

Society for Rational Dress

BoxEight will continue to run shows that weekend and a limited quantity of tickets can be purchased from their website. The Los Angeles Theatre location is supposed to be spectacular as well along with the energy of downtown.
Saturday (14th):

David Alexander
COA
Future Heretics
martinMARTIN

Sunday (15th):

Mike Vensel
The Batallion
Yotam Solomon
Sjobeck
Rojas
Li Cari

The fun won't end there though because City Of Los Angeles Fashion Week (CoLA) is putting together a few spectacular shows to rival the rest. Designers presenting at these invitation only events are:

B. Son
Fremont
COA (so they're showing twice?)
Eksempel
Joyrich
Brian Lichtenberg
